IPL Worlds brings lifters, coaches, referees, families, and national teams together for a major international championship experience at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Athletes must qualify through Tested IPL or Untested IPL affiliate events held from Jan. 1, 2025 through Oct. 18, 2026.
Argentina, Australia, Belarus, Bolivia, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Nauru, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Romania, Russia, Serbia, United States, and Venezuela.
National teams must consist of three men and three women in Raw or Classic Raw. Team scores combine the top six DOTS scores. Teams may bring six alternates who can be substituted in, with no more than two lifters per weight class.
Tested lifters must have a Master total and Open/non-tested lifters must have an Elite total for their age group and weight class. Qualifying totals must be achieved at a Tested IPL or Untested IPL affiliate event from Jan. 1, 2025 through Oct. 18, 2026.
Men's and Women's Classification ChartFull Power, Bench Only, and Deadlift Only. Categories include Raw, Classic Raw (wraps), Single Ply, and Multi Ply. Multi Ply will be bench and deadlift only.
Women: 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 67.5, 75, 82.5, 90, 100, 110, 110+ kg
Men: 52, 56, 60, 67.5, 75, 82.5, 90, 100, 110, 125, 140, 140+ kg
World Championship medals will be awarded for each weight class, age group, and gear category. Best Lifter awards will be presented for categories with five or more lifters.
Weigh-ins begin 24 hours before each competition day. Weigh-in windows are 9:00-10:30 AM and 4:00-5:00 PM.
