Thank you for choosing to become a member of the United States Powerlifting Association (USPA). Your membership gives you access to compete in USPA-sanctioned events and be part of one of the nation's premier powerlifting organizations.

Membership Purchase

Membership payment is required at the time of purchase. Any membership application that is not paid immediately will be automatically canceled and will need to be resubmitted.

Your USPA membership is valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

For your convenience, memberships are automatically set to renew annually. You may manage or cancel your automatic renewal at any time through your account before your renewal date to avoid future charges.

Adult Membership (18+): $99 USD
Youth Membership (Ages 10–17): $49 USD
Adaptive Membership: $49 USD
Referee Membership: $49 USD

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Membership purchases are eligible for a full refund only if the request is submitted within 72 hours of the original purchase date and time.

After the 72-hour refund window has expired, membership purchases are non-refundable, with no exceptions.

USPA Member - Release of Liability

In consideration of becoming a member of the United States Powerlifting Association (USPA), and/or participating in any and all events sanctioned by the USPA, regardless of location, I acknowledge, understand, appreciate, and agree to the following:

1. The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce the risk, the risk of serious injury does exist, and

2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releasees or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation, and

3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence of participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the USPA officials immediately, and

4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless any meet director/promoter, the USPA and their parent companies, subsidiaries, officers, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and the owners and/or lessors of the premises used for the activity (“Releasees”), with respect to any and all injury arising, disability, death or damage to any person or property, whether arising from the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I have read this agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.

PARTICIPANT'S SIGNATURE FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF PARTICIPANTS OF MINORITY AGE (UNDER AGE 18 AT TIME OF REGISTRATION)

This is to certify that I, as parent/guardian with legal responsibility for this participant, do consent and agree to his/her release as provided above of all the Releasees, and, for myself, my heirs, assigns, and next of kin, I release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all liabilities incident to my minor child's involvement or participation in these programs as provided above, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
