FAQ

Certified gyms must be a commercially located facility with qualified staff and sufficient equipment to accommodate training of the squat, benchpress, and deadlift. Each facility must also have a USPA Certified Coach on staff.

The USPA may, at their discretion, and based on the experience of the gym/trainers, grant a temporary 12-month extension of the Certified Coach requirement. This will be determined after the USPA office reviews each affiliate application.

The current rate is $550/year or $150/quarter. Gyms that affiliate at the current rate are guaranteed the same rate for each subsequent year of renewal. Rates for future certification are subject to change.
